ADLW Clergy Support Fund

The Clergy Support Fund of the Anglican Diocese of the Living Word is designed to help our clergy with specific financial needs in times of hardship.

With the support of our Standing Committee, the diocese has established this fund to offer care to the canonically resident clergy of the diocese. The Fund is generated from participating congregations and individuals who contribute funds to compliment a generous matching grant which we have received.

If you are able to give to the Clergy Support Fund please use this link.

If you are canonically resident in the ADLW and would like to apply for funds, please carefully read the short Clergy Support Fund Handbook, which provides important information regarding eligible needs, tax implications, and the application process.

Once you have read the handbook and are ready to apply:

You can complete the application form here.

  1. In the application form please explain your needs in 500 words or less, including any details about how funds would be used if this request is approved (see the "Tax Implications" section of the Handbook). The Diocesan Bishop will evaluate the request, and if necessary confer with the Suffragan Bishop, the Registrar, the Vicar General or necessary support staff.
  2. The Diocesan Bishop or the Registrar will then send an email acknowledging the application has been received. Note: the form's contents are appended to the handbook for informational purposes. Please use the online application form.
  3. Once you have received the funds, please send a follow up email to the Registrar acknowledging receipt and that you have used the funds for the stated and requested purpose.
